Collages
Here are some zen-spiro-spintangles I have been working on. I had to layer the techniques, add some text and other images.
I like the zentangle idea as an underlying structure for journalling and other collage work. Putting lines on paper is wonderful fun. Using the spin art machine and the spirograph gave me a starting form to wrap the zentangle lines around.
I have been collecting old spirograph sets. I got a Super Spirograph for Christmas one year and loved it. The instructions are amazing. I especially like making a mistake like having the pen skip or the extra ink that is added where the start and end points are. I also used a Spin Art machine with some Winsor Newton inks. The result was very unpredictable.Then I zentangled on top of these techniques.
